Restored M1A1 Mine

Hey Guys, Every once in a while I will get a practice mine that is very rusty, when I do I will make a repo/ restored H.E. mine out of it.
Here is the U.S. the original H.E. mines are very rare. Now is i can just learn how to weather this a little. Any hints???

Hi Pierre, Here are the two styles. M1 and M1A1, sometimes I think the military named everything M1..LOL Here is a pic of two original M1 and M1A1 PRACTICE Mines (blue) and two repos i made.
I love this pic of the soldier putting fuzes in the two style mines.

Used in WWII..Those Blue ones were burried in 42 or 43..

Thought you guys would like see a mine box I made up. I found a source for original mine boxes and bought over a dozen, now i have to get new pics in original boxes.

Thanks for the nice words. The hinges and screws are from original boxes found. Now that I bought a dozen originals, no need to make anymore.
