SS skull

Hello what can i do to treat this skull properly? It was dug up and i believe it is made of zinc. I was thinking about olive oil but maybe you have some better ideas? Thanks in advance.

I would probably use WD-40( and a fine bristle toothbrush?) , but that's just me. It halts the corrosion on some items I've had but as far a zinc goes I'm not sure if it would help.
