You have a couple of 'Ritterbugs' !

Fleas usually appear only if you have a pet dog or cat in the house.
It may also depend on the type of storage tray/container
you keep the medals in.........

Over the years, I have found carcasses of very small striped beetles/bugs
in and around my collection as well. Not within the last 12 years though,
since a move to a house in a different locale.
I believe they may have been 'carpet beetle' larvae.
Can you get a macro photo of one.........?

Hard to tell from the description, Franz. Probably no cause to worry, though. They could be common little tiny beetles, etc. Any more description? Color? Where were they found and were they fast, moving, jumping, etc? William

Right, William. Fleas usually jump out of sight in seconds.
I tried to show 3 quick examples ( above post )
of common household pests.........

No i dont have photo,
They were brown had little hard shell (heard it crack when i killed them) moved fast when you touched them... didnt jump tho to come think about it.
Im thinking they are carpet beetle...... or ritter-bugs that are coming to bite me to buy more medals
