You try alpha numerics?
What is the sequence Ajax? could you give a step by step? as Im quite satisfied with this route of being able to control..what I write in between photos...but for those who are having similar issues..any input would be welcome Regards Larry

Well, its a computer and the software platforms can be interesting so think like a computer, I am not in front of yours but try this. Take 3 photos and name them a1, a2, a3, and then load them, then rename them b3, b2, b1.load them again and see if they line up. Try it backwards and forwards before upload.
Larry, I think the issues you were having might be because the forum software adds its own identifiers to the uploaded photos which are probably not sequential to your photo group but are to ALL of the photos being uploaded via the image loading tool at any one time. I am not sure if this is the case but it might be a possible explanation. If you download from the forum webpage one of the images that you have previously posted on the forum you should see that the file name is not the one you gave it but yours plus the forum system software identifiers tagged onto the file name also.
The system software has to add these further identifiers to our file names just in case you and I both try uploading a file called image.jpg and one tries to overwrite the other.

Only our technical guru Dimas will be able to answer that software question.
But since God does not play dice, I suspect that the forum software generated identifiers are not random but sequential using the systems internal frame of reference.

Hello Stefan,
I am not familiar with the site's "identifiers" but by using the methods that I have posted earlier, including the "submit and edit" one, all of these factors should be dealt with as the "identifiers" should already be included in the image info.
At least they all work for me.
Ralph.
