Banned members pics vanishing

I was looking at some old threads with images by a recently banned member and the threads I was looking at had none of the picture he had posted and one of them I needed for research. Does this happen to all banned members pics? Or is it some sort of glitch?

I don't know if it is only these two threads or all the threads by banned members.

If the photos were uploaded to the forum I can see no reason why they would not be there now. Perhaps said member had used a photo hosting site?

I've noticed this problem also,
Posts that are a few years old seem to get the glitch also.

That's mainly due to the photo hosting sites which is why the use of them is not encouraged. We end up with a load of obsolete threads.
