Thanks for the replies - I have been put on Chrome by my own computer geek son when last home from uni - A nice man living in Russia with a website appearing to offer gun strip down manuals online (I wanted one for one of my Hispano 20mms), hacked my computer and started to encrypt my files and asked for £400 to stop or he would trash the lot - especially if I said anything naughty to him via email - seems he was exploiting a backdoor in IE - Son managed to disable his access and stop the trojan + disable the logic trap he left for anyone who tried to stop him - I only lost my younger sons ipod downloads because the trojan worked in folder name order and they were all numeric! serves him right for being so unimaginative! The hard drive was toast but we salvaged all my dig and battlefield photos + research files etc. I am now under strict orders not to use IE to view anything militaria related - but he agrees that is probably the problem as this forum is not set up for Chrome - and there was me think it was only internet porn that had such risks!

    Is Gunny's post deliberately blank?

Not all of them Gunny, and for me, its not only yours, but odd ones here and there, using internet explorer, all are visible to me.
