Blank messages and missing lines

I've noticed for a while that some messages appear blank to me and on others there are obviously missing lines of text - some of these were on threads by individuals in private groups and I wondered if they were info not for general consumption, but now realise they are pretty random and even some of my own postings now have lines and text missing!


Is it something to to do with my computers settings or the appallingly bad internet connection we have, as we live in a rural area with 30+ year old copper phone lines running several miles to the nearest exchange?

Weird, he must have turned off the 'Acknowledge others' input' setting.

I've also noticed when someone has a monetary value in their post, it shows as "0"

NickW are you by any chance using the Google Chrome webbrowser? I thought that that could be the cause of our problems.

My computer geek son suggested this, and it would appear to be the problem. Log into the site using Internet explorer.
It could be because admin. has not set up this site for Chrome...yet.
