Can't delete old image.

Gday,
Just a simple question,
How do you delete a imaged you have posted?
I attempted to change a image that I had previously posted for a better quality one.But when I deleted it the image remained in the post as an attachment.
I would like to get rid of this attachment.How can I do this?

Dave, I would try going to "pictures upload" and then locate the photo you want to delete, check the box,(or uncheck) in the bottom right, and then find the box with an " x" in it (top right) and click.
