I would just like to add, that I feel that we should be able to edit even the oldest post but,
Not necessarily true Mark.
Some will remember longer term members that were also Mods that left in a huff and deleted most or all of their photos creating useless threads that date way back.

I don't think it is an editing reduction, more of a glitch I believe.

I always thought that as a life time member I had unlimited ability to edit my posts but I notice that that seems to no longer to be the case?

I just wanted to edit a technical designation of an item and cannot!
