Thanks to the admins and mods for cleaning up this crap, I haven't seen any spam in weeks.
Good Job.
A thought from my non technical perspective.
The spammers can now only post in one place which at least makes them easy to locate. Is it possible to prevent posting in the New Users section for a set time period such as 48 hours ?
They [the spam bots] appear to join and then post immediately so this might stop them. I have no idea about the technical practicality of this but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
Hat's off to the Forum techos, who have solved the spam blight by channeling all new members first posts into one forum, (or should I say bin), there by making deletion and cancellation easy peasy. Even better the bin is at the darkest furthest frontier of the Forum where other users won't even see. Which sort of defeats the whole purpose of adverts anyway. Hopefully the purveyors of Health and Muscle supplements will get the message go somewhere else.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Mods alert. Seems some spam artists are getting through the net. See an advertisement in the "For Sale" section, Third Reich German other militaria, posted 13 August by Tamskindeo. This person seems to be another viagra merchant.
