Is this in the Archaeology section? The RRPG forum? If so there is an explanation somewhere. Steve T will be able to give you more details.
If it's somewhere else contact the Moderator of that forum.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
I've seen them too. It says for administration I believe. Password hint, something in cookies lol. I tried sugar, cookie dough, etc. with no luck. Then I moved to computer cookies, so I tired porn, etc., still with no luck lol.
No, not the Archaeology section... There was a thread named 'New site' or something like this...
Yeah your right ive seen it and couldnt get into it.

So this kind of threads are only for a few members?
The RRPG are a group of metal detectorists (is that a word?) who use the forum as a separate entity if you like. They pay a fee to be a member of this sub forum and to use the forum as a whole to host their group instead of having to set up another. Therefore, they are not subsidised by regular Gold Club members, they pay their Gold Club membership and an additional fee to join the group.
The reason that it is kept away from the mainstream forum is because the locations of dig sites do not need to be in the public domain and because many digs are on private land and are the result of the work of those members who want to dig there, it would not be very good if simply doing a Google search you can turn up at a location and start digging, maybe without the landowners permission and off the back of the time and effort other members have put in.
Yes, the threads are for those members who are actively interested in metal detecting, work together as a group, wish to share information with like minded individuals and don't want that information to be used by those who will use it to their own advantage. You are perfectly welcome to contact Steve and ask for more information but unless you are go metal detecting there is not much point. The finds from these sites are put up on the open forum to share with other members so no-one misses out on seeing the discoveries.
There are no secrets from the wider membership, it is run and paid for by the members of RRPG and hosted by this forum. That's it, there is nothing untoward going on, no special handshakes, purely a designated area of the forum to discuss digging locations.
I hope I have addressed everything. If not, speak to Steve.
