Lost all my collection images and no back up.

Hi Gent's,
Being naïve with the in's and out's of computers and the like I took for granted that all would be safe and did not back up any of my collection images. Alas my hard drive went down and I have lost the lot. My own stupid fault.
I was wondering if there was any way to extract the images I have posted on the forum back to my computer?
This would save me a heap of time as I will have to image the whole collection again and a good % of them are already on this site.
Any idea's or help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to settings then go to attachments bottom left this will show your assets

open them up in a new window then save as

When you get sorted Dave, buy a few 4gB thumbsticks ( cheap as chips ) and use one for each main subject....... back up on them ( they are mini hard discs after all )

Hi Dave,
I suggest that you go and buy an external hard drive, they can be 1 or more terra byte. I have all of my images as well as e-mails and everything else backed up

I use Amazon Cloud Drive storage to store backups of all my documents and images...zipped to save space (5GB is free). Many of my friends use Dropbox, skydrive and iCloud alternatives. You could also buy back-up software that will FTP the files to your ISP if you have web-space allocation with your internet package. Either way you know your back up files are not on site...having an external drive backup is okay but if you suffer a house fire you lose your PC and the external hard drive and its backup files.
