    Those early ones with the seperate star are almost IMPOSSIBLE to find - IMO. I also would think that if you could find one (from somebody who knows what they have) you would need to pay between $100 - $200.00.

    Perhaps you can ask Dimas for further advice.

    Like I wrote earlier, you may just want to affix one of the 50s era bullion ones until you get the opportunity to get an early example. Those seem to be more available and range in price from $30 - $60.00.

    Thanks Richie for your answer .Probably after xmas i will be on the hunt for a nice one to put on my pilotka . but for now after reading how much it will cost me if i find one i will take my time to make sure i have the right one .

    Instituted in March 0f 1941 for Submarines crew of Soviet Navy. In 1941 and most of 1942 it was used with commanding personnel' navy star.

    In 1942 and 1943 mostly with a small navy badge.
