Naval Furazhkas
Hello. Can anyone tell me if the Naval Furazhkas from the War and immediate post-war period were the same pattern as other services? I've found an Officer's cap with a square visor (1935 type) for sale, early 1950s date. I haven't found a period photo of one like it and was wondering if it's unusual? P.S. No ability to upload a photo sadly.

Despite the latter, an image of the item in question will make all the difference in the replies you get.
I have seen wartime period images of Naval Commanders adorning visor caps with square visors. I also own two Starshina visor caps, one summer, one non-summer with square visors - both postwar made.
Try your best to come up with that image.
Cheers,
Richie

Richie, thank you for the reply. You have answered the question.
Post war made but of the same pattern is good enough for me, indeed I prefer the unambiguous nature of dated post war stuff (if that doesn't sound too odd).
I wish I could post a picture but I was required to leave my smart phone at home by my employer. I'm in Ukraine for a few months. Not as many treasures here as I'd hoped!
