Rank insignia of Soviet navy 1943 year

Officers shoulder boards designed with 6 corners, NCO's and enlisted are 5 corners
Officers can use the metal plates, instead of bride in the same shape
Shoulder boards can be hard shaped, semi-hard and soft . Hard shoulder boards designed for officers, when the semi-hard for high rank NCO's, and soft for NCO's and enlisted ranks. ( Comment: in real life, enlisted and NCO's ranks rebuilt straps to hard shape, for a fashion reason)
All the tunic straps are slip-on, overcoats and rain coats straps are sewn in to shoulder seam
Smaller size NCO's and enlisted shoulder boards- rectangles- which is in size: height- 50, width- 60, are designed for use with navy working uniform and sailor's shirts. Short used uniforms or on-duty uniforms as a storm wear, or a sentry sheepskin coat etc used without the shoulder straps

Measurement and stars placement on the shoulder boards

Stars applied to the boards ( allowed bullion embroidered) - gold braid boards- silver stars, silver braid- gold stars
Stars are in 3 different sizes: 20mm, 16mm and 13 mm, as shown in the table.
Branch service insignia are gold for coastal-engineering, aviation- engineering, medical and justice
Silver for navy crew engineers and veterinary service.
Branch insignia allocated 55 mm from upper edge of shoulder strap to the lower part of emblem
Button without back side plate, and diameter is 18 mm. Color is the same as a bride color

NCO's and enlisted ranks of the Soviet navy

Stencil are painted over the shoulder board , lower part of the stenciled letter must be upper for 20 mm from the lower edge of the shoulder board.
and 5 mm from the lover part of the smaller rectangle shoulder board ( tab) for the shirt. Length of the stenciled letter is 40 mm

Anchor applied only for the navy, naval-engineers, quartermaster and medical schools shoulder straps, anchors made from metal and in size of 60 mm for the shoulder straps, and 43 for small rectangular boards ( tabs). Anchor's bottom part must be 10 mm upper from the lower edge of shoulder strap, and 3,5 mm from the tab's edge.
Stencils on these straps are not applied
