Hi all!

Did Spetsnaz use red beret in Soviet times? Because sometimes people say they used the VDV beret too. The blue one. If anyone of you have photos of what Spetsnaz uniforms looked like during the cold war, i would appreciate it. Does anyone know where i could get an original not surplus Spetsnaz beret?

Specnaz of Internal toops could use the maroon berets in case if they had rights to wear it. That is a priveleged headgear for the soldiers who came across the very heavy exercises, and in the last stayed at the foots after the 10 min close combat with the allready recieved and not tired maroon beret recipients. Usually broken ribs and noses in that case is normal practice.
