I acquired This beautiful Piece of trench art WORLD WAR 1
Its hard to see what it says by the pictures. But it says VERDUN. The shell is marked 1916 its the biggest piece I've ever seen.

Alrighty then, I can do that.
What I consider my best finds this year, in no particular order:
#1 French TAP56, one of the later rebuilds from a standard "Troupe Toutes Armes" M51. Here I've dolled her up with a "Salade" cover.
Marking inside shell should read "ENT-174/ TR 197?" but this one is mostly illegible. I've done all I can here but not much help
Note spot where standard chinstrap loop was removed:
Bone stock late issue liner with green leather chinstrap.

Well, that worked OK to my surprise.
Next, a Spanish Modelo 26 "Casco con Ala" from the Spanish civil war era.
Basic model with badge holder as added to all helmets in Franco's army in 1943:
Side view. Note the deep skirt, and the folding at the curve. The 26 was not an easy piece to manufacture.
Interior view with liner and insanely long chinstrap. The CCA comes in one size, which is why some photos show larger men with helmets that look like a peanut shell perched on a bowling ball, while smaller men appear to be wearing a portable cave. I'm a 7 3/8 or 59cm and this is too small for me-and not just slightly too small either. The liner seems to be the original very heavy black leather which has picked up some overspray when the helmet was repainted olive over the original slate grey. It's still that slate color under the liner.
Just as an observation, this must have been a miserable thing to wear in the heat of southern Spain or in Spanish Morocco.

This is purely my opinion and Im no MOD ( a mod or admin might have another opinion), so dont take this the wrong way, but lets not frivolously flag just any old thread with the 'Important' flag.
Ever seen a Taiwanese M1 clone? No? Neither had I, and I had no idea that Taiwan even made M1 clones, but here is the proof. After seeing this helmet offered, several hours of research finally revealed photos featuring an identical helmet marked "Made in Taiwan ROC" and this one is a dead ringer for that. Note the kind of sandy loam color this item is finished in-this is probably a contract made helmet for export to somewhere (Middle East, maybe?) Clearly unused and in mint condition, a copy of the m1966 version of the M1 Helmet
Outside shell, basic late M1 shallow bowl type. Flat paint with sand or something similar added to the outside for glare reduction. Shell is devoid of any markings.
Rear seam join, kind of shoddy looking workmanship.
Standard swivel bales, like everything else, shamelessly copied from the US original.
Basic low-quality T1 style chinstrap hardware.
Notice the low quality spot welds around the outside edging.
Copy of liner made from hard, homogenous plastic , tinted and painted.
Interior showing many close copy features but executed in a sloppy fadhion
Only marking on the helmet. It's on the nape strap and basically unreadable.
very nice m 26 trubia cammobunker ,i like the fluted edge on your example ,i notice the insignia bracket has been fitted at an odd angle the same as mine ,allthough not a 2013 pickup here's my example its an earlier production as it has the hollow ventilation rivits but the exterior of shell has been repainted later in its lifeby cammobunker
