Afghan M35 or M40 helmet

Found this nice picture showing Afghan soldiers af ANA (Afgan National Army) before the time of Taliban.
All the Afghan helmets I allready saw were M16-18 types. So this picture showing some M35 or M40 helmets is kinda new for me.

From my understanding, these are Bundesgrensschutz helmets.
Here is one in my collection. You can see the holes were the emblem should be.
