    Hi Fellow collectors.

I have this liner to show you all, I guess it it is a Belgium M51 liner ,judging by the the little indented rectangle on the side, there are no clear markings or stamps inside in the crown, and it looks very poor quality compared to other similar liners of it's era, what are your opinions please?

I believe this one is from the 60s or 70s possibly even the 80s

A rough estimate would be late 70's. Possible 1980's.
The leather looks to be quality though.

It looks rather soft and flexibel? Am I right?

Thanks for the estimate on the date 37webbing, and yes the leather sweatband is flexible , I guess the liner has had some light usage, as the webbing is faded etc , I am confused by the lack of manufacturers stamps, and the lack of a Belgium flag on the outside, the rectangle indent does not show any signs of ever having a national flag affixed??

    Thanks for your input!

Hi James, It has had some very light usage that;s for sure, the sweatband has some "ingrained forehead grease", blimey never went in to that much detail before, but you know what I mean I hope.

And the indent I would assume would have a Belgium tricolour flag inside, but again there is no evidence that a tricolour was ever fitted, I know this liner is as far away from exotic or rare, it just bug's me when there are no distinct manufacturers marks, but then I am odd without doubt!!

    Thanks again for your input.
