I've bought a few helmets this year and unfortunately had to sell one already. It's hard to pic the one I like best so here are two Brit MKI's and two Mle. 15 Adrians.
Tony
Actually I think my favourite is the painted relic Mle. 15.
Tony
Very nice , the painted one!

Great Helmets guys, I'm very jealous.
The odd great helmet comes up now and again for sale in NZ, but most people hold onto them......me.
I don't think I will stop till I've collected them all....
Although my wife thinks they're rubbish and would love to sell them.
I only got 1 helmet this year so far.... a standard M48 U.SCH 65. Thought it had a WW2 M1 shell. Cheap way to get one I guess.
And Late last year got an Israeli M1 clone with 3 hinges and correct chin strap.
My Favorite Helmet is my Granddads NZ Vietnam helmet.
Ha ha.
Yes my Gdads helmet was my first in my collection.
He gave it to me when I was 12.
He was in the SAS in Veitnam as an "advisor". First saw action in Malaya in the 50's.
Got a few collar tabs he "collected".
I will keep my eyes peeled and every time I travel I'm always on the look out.
My nicest acquisition in 2014 was this Royal Engineers badged Helmet Steel War Office Pattern helmet, in other words a pre-1916 " Brodie" proprement dit.
You can steel see traces of the original green paint inside.
