Picked up this Danish 1923 helmet today on the fea market

Nice lid and pre 1938 with the smooth paint finish, i'm not sure if the liner is original to the era and i've never seen that double sliding buckle on the chin strap before!....

Very nice Danish helmet!

It depends on the weight, whether it is a M23 or a M23-41 (Civil defence).
Army version (post 1938) : M1923 army helmet

Civilian version (post 1941): m1923-helmet-m1923-41

The army version weighs about 1600 grammes - 3,53 Lbs.
There is a small brass disc inside the liner band, with a serial number, on every army helmet - see if there is one inside yours?

But it is a very iconic design, not often seen.
