Dominican Republic 1950s Stahlhelm?
Hello, just on the "Uniforms of the world " website (www.uniformsotw),and see that in the Central American section there is a mention of the Dominican Republic army of the early 1950s , with soldiers wearing the WW1 German Stahlhelm helmet. I dont know if this is a field/combat or parade helmet.
Has anyone come across any mention of this or photos (which are meant to exist showing this)?

as far as I know dominican republic used german M53 helmets, that is a postwar M35 clone. Not news about ww1 lids.
