don't know if this one is fake or vietnam era ?

Article about: Hi! i am interest in this helmet and for some reason i fear it might not be from ww2 is somebody could tell me what they think ? and was it normal to have a country flag painted on the side

    Well it's not ww2. I'm not sure of the country this helmet was exported to. To get a better idea of the era we need pictures of it's chinstrap to the helmet bale attachment but from here it is something out of the late 70's early 80's.

    As you may know multiple countries adopted the m1 helmet.

    Thanks a lot i am not going with that one there were something inside me who was telling me something is wrong with it i don't know much but i am learning each day

    This Belgian M51 on Pottia.net has a Dutch M53 thermoplastic liner. Late Belgian liners were thermoplastic as well, but had the sweat band attached with metal clips, as on US M1's, not like the Dutch ones with leather loops and press buttons.
