Welcome to the forum! Hard telling without photos. Can you post pictures of helmet, markings and what your inquiry is in regards to? The 56 is for sizing likely. The B36 might be maker and year? I have seen them marked VB56 and are post war Dutch Civil helmets. Does stampings look like this and any other stampings?
