Hi Adrian, see here: but none quite match the one you show? Maybe an earlier type?

The helmets are Swedish trial models from the 1920 trials, the trials led to the adoption of the m/21 helmet.
The liners are of regular Swedish type, three leather pads, a copy of the German liner.
Some of these trial helmets actually saw use during ww2, with a helmet shortage the army took what ever was available.
I'd love to have one of those in my collection, I probably will some day too, but it'll probably take a few years. They're very rare!
I'll post pictures of my Swedish trial helmets and liners one day, but right now they're in moving boxes.
Thanks a lot !
I will never have this model adrian
Incredible they even copied those awkward M91 chinstrap posts! Why ever?
The Irish did that as well on their Vickers M16 clones? Why not the M18 strap assembly?
Cheers,
Emile
My guess would be it was because they started the work on a Swedish helmet in 1915* **, so I suppose these German-type helmets derived from the m16, although the m/21 don't have these kind of strap rivets.
*Yhea, that's right, it took 6 years to finish it, apparently it wasn't that prioritized.
**The first Swedish trial helmet was a simplified copy of the adrian helmet.
this is the model ?
That's one of the trial models from that year, yes.
