    Zero know's his lids, it is a Portugese M1940,the first helmet that Portugal designed and built.
    Prior to that they wore British Mk1's ,but they designated these helmets M1917.

    They claim these Portugese helmets to be are, however I regularly see them lurking on ebay and they don't go expensive. Keep in mind that these shells were re-issued later on with a new kind of webbing until the 60's.
