    In all honesty mate, there's not a great deal of difference.

    Take away the greyish colour, get yourself a liner, repaint it and add a couple of US decals, and you'll have yourself a decent replica!

    Thats what I'd do anyway!

    I have a bunch of those Danish re-use M1 style helmets. Looks just like yours mate

    This is actually the Danish clone of the U.S. "M-1 Low Dome". The Low Dome was a later development of the M-1. It was designed to give a lower profile. Not sure that it really achieved the desired effect. Anyhow, the Low Dome was issued to U.S. troops during the Vietnam era. My guess is that the Danes copied that version.
