Article about: I have two British Mark IIs acquired separately. One had a page of Hebrew newspaper stuffed in it (this was in Texas!!!) My question: Does the Israeli connection mentioned in the description

Thanx BG I agree and will take some better images upon its arrival so possibly we can sort it out as I am rather curious now as to were it originated from I have quite a few US M-1 and or M-1 variants in my collection that do not have proper homes ie... ( Helmet Bodies )

From the many photos that I have found, the rubber tube around the para helmet is too thick for it to be typically 1967.
I have also seen plain helmets worn in the field or just a net and no tube.
It's up to you. Nice helmets!

Many thanks for the reply after checking over a few images I have found on line in reference to the thickness of the tube I believe you are spot on and I will have to cut it down a bit to make it more period correct for the purpose of display.
