great pictures BG the israeli's seem to have used the british airborne style chinstrap arrangement on there headgear through the years even modifiying standard US m1's to 3 point ,i cant comment on what the para's would of worn in between but the m76 orlite was used by them more recently before the pasgt style and also used by special forces
I’ve finally got round to adding my MKII AT British para helmet that has been used by Israel.
This is slightly odd in that it has not been repainted, the name in Hebrew on the chinstrap is the only thing that gives it away. The oval rubber pad is missing from the crown and has been replaced by a cotton pad which had foam rubber in it.
It is dated (not too clearly) 1944 and still had has the British manufactured chinstrap. The net was fitted when I bought it.

One more Israeli used MKII AT para.....this is one I sold a few years ago and I just came across the photos.
This as the more usual sand coloured paint, the oval pad has been replaced with the foam crucifix crown pad from a British MKII and secured in with an aluminium rivet. (this mod is fairly common on these helmets)
The chinstrap is the Israeli manufactured version (no hollow rivets in the metal ends) and dated 1944.
One of my selling off regrets, when I cropped my collect by half
