Info on WW2 Brodie helmet wanted

Hey, I just bought this Brodie helmet, it's a 1942 helmet with a new liner and chinstrap, but I was wondering if anyone could add any more info on this particular helmet based on the pictures. Thanks.

Are you sure its 1942?

Looks more like "1940" to me. Makers mark looks like "EC & CO LTD" which would be E Camelinat & Co Ltd. from Birmingham.

I was really just going off what the guy who sold it to me said, personally I also thought it looked more like 1940. It does look a lot like EC & CO LTD, thanks for the info!
