cheers nuno and MM i agree steve i can see the similarity between liners of this helmet and my bundeswehr m60 i wonder if the Hans Römer Co played a part in this design and also i notice the chinstrap and catches look very similar the plot thickens ,thanks james
The chinstrap on the shell looks exactly similar to the chinstrap on my Swedish un-issued M/37-65 helmet.
looks like the liner is missing the wide web suspension straps that go under the leather?

Some information you might find useful which I found on the web "In 1995 the Heeresbekleidungsanstalt (HBA) officially released a document with sewing instructions, allowing the use of old surplus tent parts (Zeltbahn) and other discarded camouflage material as material for helmet covers."
