    Default M40 Mexican Army Helmet

I am a collector of TOO MANY things and I really had no concept of what this item was until I did a search on this site. If I could ask your opinion as to what I should charge for this item I put it on EBAY at $29.99? Is that an appropriate price should I have asked for more? Less? Heres a link to the photo.

I hope that works so you can see it and let me know any information you can.

    Thanks again.

Hi Kyle, welcome to the forum!

To me, that sounds like a fair starting price? Always better to start lower than higher, as it tends to attract interest and so more potential bidders. Usually things will find their price level on E bay.

    Cheers, Ade.

At least they are not easy to find helmets, IMO the price for completed helmet must be around 300-500 USD or even more, and there is not available to find them in open militaria market.

    hey people...
I own two mexican adrians,(which are slight diferent one from the other). I bought them here in mexico where i live. they are not soooo rare, althrough usually liner and badge are missing. I posted them here in WRF,you can look ´em up if you are interested. Usually here they go for around 30 to 60 USD, all depending on your bargain-talent. They where used during the 30´s and 40´s, and eventually got replaced by the M1.. The small shiny badge ona a pictured helmet is a modern mexican replacement for the lost original one..
Hope i could enlighten you a bit.
