whatIS TYPE C?
M36 type C. There was type A and B.I have the type A made at 1936 with a post war paint, liner and chinstrap
hi greek military ,sorry ill explain the bulgarian model 1936 as you can tell was issued prior to ww2 there are three variants of this model A,B,and C , A is identifyed by four large rivits to attach the liner and a rolled edge model B usually has three rivits ,two at the front and one at the rear not unlike the german stahlhelms of the time this has a cut or raw edge rim ,type C of which you have has its liner held by 4 steel extensions which are rivited to the shell with four small rivits and so the liner is seperate from the shell ,interesting for you is its a style of liner similar to the greek m34/39 provided by italy ,i notice your example has remnants of the tricolour shield ,this decal was used during ww2 and also post war ,my ww2 issue bulgarian m36 is also a type C ,also there is another variant which has a short brim ,hope this helps james
Regards James
