    Love the Adrians James!

Would you be so kind as to post images of the method of fixing the liner to the shell please? My M15 arrived with the liner loose and I can't see any way that the leather can fit to the 4 corrugated alloy sheets.

Excuse me for butting in Glenn66 and James - the corrugated pieces and the leather/wool liner are pierced by the double prongs of 4 clips soldered to the inside of the shell. Take a look at this very excellent website, World War Helmets: .: World War Helmets - Casque Adrian modèle 15 :.

the helmets on the middle shelf:

far left is greyish blue used by Italy , the middle helmet is a French Export M26 used in the Spanish Civil War [ no insignia holes] the helmet on the far right is a WWI French M1915 used by the Italians, I think the the color is a called the verde green? also has a green leather chin strap.

Thanks for the link John. I'll have to google-foo a translation from the French but it appears to be very detailed.

James, yes i'll add my M15 to this or start a new thread when I refit my liner and get some decent shots taken.

    Hello,

Just wondering if it wouldn't be best to have different thread for:
    - Adrian,
    - M 26
    - M 51
helmets as it appear that many colectors have helmets on that field.

Other or specific helmets could still be in the generic thread till a specific interest generate the need for an other thread, not to dilute amongs others.

    What do you think?
