Hi Fellow collectors, here's a US Westinghouse M1 liner, that has been clearly re-worked for use with another nation.

The webbing cradle, and rivets are not US issue, and it has been painted a glossy Green colour, there are some markings on the webbing ,but they do not seem to relate to anything,on the sweatband which is a 1974 dated US issued piece, there is some faint writing in pen, Blkk or something along those lines, again this could be irrelevant to identifying this liner.

I purchased this liner on it's own , so I have no shell to give me any clues ,I'm afraid.

Any ideas or theories, I did think South American but really not sure ???
