    hi matty and thanks for showing the liner system is identical to my fiber version ,i wonder if the frontal insignia is intact under the black paint ,1967 is quite a vintage ,i just wish i could age as well cheers james

    The liner system seems alot like the MKII helmet liner to me, maybe there was some influence? The paint over the insignia is a very dark shade of green in person with some black underneath, so maybe the insignia is still there.

    thats a good point matty ,the liner crusible pad is there very much like the brit mk11 ,id be too tempted to dig for the polish arms of service eagle stencil

    I think it will be left like this as it adds to the character. And im not so sure its a polish arms of service Eagle, but it could be.

    The chinstrap lugs are very much like the ones on later MKII and MKIII helmets.
