its used when in jugoslavia start war (JA - from JNA....... JUGOSLAVIA ARMY ) and next after war used with eagle

im post late my m89......u have 2 typs this and no screw liner

i quess somebody was so determined to scrub out the star to the point where they reached bare metal ,i have an example which shows the deliberate removal of the star but not to the extreme you mention hence the fitment of the covers

Many thanks SRB and James for your help on identifing the flash I peeled the sticker back as suggested but it would appear that there has never been any other type of flash applied on this helmet before .
