Swedish Army Despatch Raider helmet

Hello everyone,
I knew the existence of this helmet model of Swedish Army, but I had not ever seen a real example, at last I have found an example in excellent condition and with an attractive patina which will add to my collection.
It was made nationwide in plastic fiber and I believe that replaced the previous British made models.
I share it with you why I think it's interesting for this kind collectors.

Very nice helmet!
Sweden produced (and produces) some quality helmets.
The craftsmanship is superb and so is the resources used in the production.

But I am not aware that the Swedish army uses British lids?
Where did you learn this? I have never encountered a British helmet in Swedish colours?

according to which the "British Cromwell Helmet Protective Headgear" was used by the Swedish Army Despatch Rider in the 40s, and is also presented a photo of this helmet on which the Swedish decals are visible.
I also consider that I am not aware that there are previous patterns Swedish DR to the model as mine, so I considered it a credible argument, but still is my opinion and I'm not sure.

It is a credible argument, but I will have to check with the Swedish army museum (Armemuseum) about this.
It is not at all unbelievable - the Swedish army sometimes used foreign equipment.
But I was under the notion that helmets always were produced in Sweden.

However, a single photo does not prove anything I am afraid.
The Swedish armed forces "laboratories" (Arméintendenturförvaltningen) - field tested large quantities of foreign equipment.
Incorporating certain features into their own home-grown equipment.
A lot of photographic "evidence" (used in a lot of otherwise good books) are from such trials.

Nothing is really proven until the official documentation is found, but that takes years and a knowledge of Swedish.

I've got some news for you (and anyone interested in Swedish dispatch rider helmets.)
There are several patterns, but not one of them are official patterns, until 1958.
I believe your helmet is the 1958 pattern - the only post war pattern officially adopted.
