Swedish model 1921, so called high model (there also existed a low model 1921). Repainted in olive green, possibly over grey. WW2 vintage paint job.
Nice helmet.
Cheers,

Hi Emile, would you be able to give me any further information?
A couple of other helmets I have use the year as the date of manufacture. This looks in too good of condition to be from 1921 though, any idea of the time frame of manufacture?
How can you tell this is repainted in the era of WW2?
Who would have worn this helmet at the time?
I believe these helmets were produced from 1923 and were painted grey. Later they were refurbished and as from 1942, two decals were added on the sides. If the Swedish emblem was painted on, it is of an earlier date.
These green helmets were used by by the army.
It is quite possible this helmet never left the magazines and was consequently kept in pristine condition. Keep in mind that, before WW2, the Swedes introduced new helmets; the M26 and M39.
Very nice helmet. here is a helpful reference link for this model and others
