    hi BG sorry but i should of asked before but your cover looks different to mine not in camo pattern but in yours having the spring hooks as a method of attachment to the rim ,mine is just elasticated so id be interested to learn more on which came first ,i do have this spring clip type fitted to my latter m71 if that gives any clues ,is yours reversable ?

    James C, Yes my Swiss camo cover with metal clips is also reversable to summer green camo

    I am not sure which type came out first? I read that the Swiss also manufactured covers for the Germans
