Hi Kris, thanks for the close up. It is indeed bad, being a sticker.

    Cheers, Ade.

#4 appears to have some paper with some type of writing in the liner? see if you can identify what language the writing is, that could be where the helmet came from and the liner looks like post war 1950's, lots of countries bought British surplus after WWII to equip there armies, it could have been used by another country like Holland

#13 the shape and details of the the shell look identical to a Belgian M26 or M31 but without the holes for insignia, the black paint looks like something used by Civil Defense, probably used by Belgian civil defense force, or police 1940's - 1950's

#15 also has a post WWII liner and looks like a Dutch or Belgian civil Defense helmet from the 1950's - 1960's

    Hello Stuka F,

Nr 4 I don't know, but nr 13 appears to be a M31 of Belgian manufacture. Look in the shell and see whether the comb is attached with split rivets (French) of tubular ones (Belgian). Helmets without insignia holes were produced for export. M31's like this one are sometimes encountered in The Netherlands. Mostly for pre war Police and CD use.
Nr 15 has a Dutch liner. Belgian liners were made of leather and had it's bumpers fixed with a metal clasp. The stripe does not ring a bell. Sometimes blue chequered lines were seen for CD use, indicating rank.

    Cheers,
    Emile
