yugoslav M NE-44/85; which unit mark ?

Hi mates !

Got today this yugoslav pot, (Model NE-44/85).

Upon the front you can see an arrowhead, (or, a shovel blade ?), painted in green.

IMO this is the sign of an unit, fighting in the Balkan war 1991-2002.

Anybody has further informations regarding this particular unit ?

Has the insignia been painted or has the dark green been scratched away. It could be that the red star was removed.

I do not believe to be unit mark . may be just a scratch.
