Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.

I'm gutted to miss this but I am working the weekend and can't get leave. At least living near Middle Wallop and Boscombe Down I have seen a few Spits and Hurries over the last few days. A Spit was doing aerobatics right over my back garden last evening

I look forward to seeing pics "from the front". Have a great day guys

I have just returned home after spending a fabulous day at Duxford.

    Great meeting you Nick !!

I would like to pass on my congratulations and my appreciation to IWM Duxford, and to all the pilots involved, was a super day out and the Grand Finale with the 15 Spitfire's and 2 Seafire's has to be the most beautiful display of anything I have seen in my life. Set against a clear blue sky with scattered clouds as a backdrop, the display was a like a Spitfire ballet, poetry in motion, sights and sounds I will never forget, set in such an historic location, one’s mind thinking of times 75 years ago, I could easily have cried, I admit I had tears in my eyes. I was proud to be British and was a privilege to be among like-minded people.

I didn't take many photos unfortunately, my camera was playing up.
