Just buy a real shell they can still be brought fairly cheap and a lot of the copies are badly made

Well I need a 68 shell and you don't find those cheap. At least I haven't been able to.

    Question

I used to buy helmets from a company in Germany to sell to WW 2 reenactors. They were good repros, but not made of balistik steel.
There was also someone in the Czech republik who made repros.
Not sure if either one is still around.
There has also been repros coming out of china and/or japan.
I'm sure that there is no one making military standard/grade helmets. There is no market for them.

Appreciate the replies, everyone. Thanks. Think I'll just bite the bullet and get a decent 68 shell then.
