    Hi Everyone,
Just thought I'd share a few photos of my first WWII reenactment. The unit I'm with is known as the 167th Volksgrenadier division. Because we are a Volksgrenadier unit we portray the German infantryman from 1943-45. No flashy uniforms for us! The reenactment is called close assault 1944 and is held at Camp Mabry in Austin, TX. I had a lot of fun and hope that this will be the start of many more reenactments to come.
    Enjoy!

Nice combo of weapons. It looks like someone is sporting a belt of 8mm. Do you guys have MG42?

Hi Jake, you look the part!

Well done. Re-enactment can give you a lot of insights into how the German soldier lived and fought. Continue to have fun.

    Cheers, Ade.
