Hi Guys, I thought that I would give a little report on this event.

We had a good time and enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully our group might have picked up some new members which was the reason for us attending the show.

The venue is superb. Light, airy and warm and with good facilities: toilets, showers, a cafe and easy parking. We were allowed to bring our vehicles right up to the door to unload and borrow sack trucks if needed. The organisers were all friendly and helpful. We had enough space and plenty of tables and chairs.

The show had a mixture of different groups present from different time periods. We were the only WW2 group doing a display but a lot of the stalls were selling WW2 items aimed at the re-enactor market.

This show has a lot of potential for the future and 2nd Guards will certainly support the event next year for the already planned dates.

Hi Guys, this event is taking place once again as promised.

Same venue as before.

Date is Sat Feb 28th / Sunday March 1st.

On the Saturday night there will also be a 1940's dance.

As this event is coming up this weekend, I have bumped this thread back to the top.

Any UK members that attend please come along and say "Hello". Our group will be easy to spot at the bottom of the sloped walkway. We will have a large banner for "2nd Guards Rifle Division" in front of our display tables.
