Peak Railway 1940's event: Aug 4th & 5th 2012

Hi Guys, this is my favourite event of the show season.

The whole vintage steam railway goes back to the 1940's.

1940’s Weekend - Peak Rail

Lots to see with various re-enactment groups taking part, German, Brit, US and Soviet.

Our group will be camped up in the small silver birch wood at Rowsley South station.

Lots to see, with displays, vehicles, 1940's entertainment, mock battle each day.

At first glance, the person in the first photo looks alot like Jeremy irons.

Hi all popped up to Peak Rail for a look around and of course to see Lez and Ade, good to see them again. A few stalls there this year but not a lot of German gear for sale (which was original!!!)
