A remarkable project; great work indeed.

(Although it brings back unpleasant memories from some 10 years back when the council decided to replace the water- and gas pipes leading from the mains into my basement, turning my back garden into a not entirely dissimilar sight.)

I’ve seen that guy on documentaries on the Discovery and Military Channel on Sky, he takes part in lots of real WW1 digs in Belgium and France, he knows his stuff, and I think he’s a cool guy

He can come round my house anytime he wants to start a similar project, I don't mind a little mess as long as he tidies up afterwards....

Oh, and they'll first have to flush out the Japanese sniper who's been holed up there since 1987.

Oh no not Robertshaw !! My least favourite so called Historian , no doubt he was in the Officers dug out as he thinks he is an Army Officer !!

He nicked the idea from Dominic at the Tommy Bar in Pozieries on the Somme , Dom has had a large Trench system in his garden for many years and it is way better than Robertshaws garden , if you ever pass by the Tommy you've got to have a look !!
