Hi Simon, it was very good. Saturday was really hectic. Sunday a little bit lesser so, most likely due to the football being on TV.

Vehicle wise, the Tiger was not running this year due to repair being carried out. But the JadgPanther was there.

We had a really nice British Valentine tank on my friends display next to us, painted in desert tan paint.

An M3 "Honey" was also there, but it was running a bit lumpy and back fired and spluttered a bit. Also painted desert camo.

The Kuwaiti's handed over the cheque

Hopefully Mike, "Koba64" from the forum will post some pics here. It was a pleasure to meet up with him.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Ade,
Looking forward to seeing Mike's photos. I hope he got some of the JadgPanther. I would like to see that particular vehicle in real life and hear it running
    Regards, Simon.

On the Saturday eveing we had a run out to the Pub in a comrades half track They always provide us with transport and have stick on magnetic Red Stars to go on the trucks.

I should mention it was HOT all weekend so several of us, myself included just wore our white undershirts. Lez holds my beer while I direct the half track while reversing out of the pub car park.

Indeed We had a nice little convoy of various US WW2 vehicles ranging from Jeeps to a Diamond T wrecker.

Gordon, the half track owner drove it all the way from Basingstoke and back: no low loaders for him I should mention he is a member of 514 QM truck Regt:

"drove it all the way from Basingstoke and back"... half tracks only do about 2 miles to the gallon, don't they? Thats about a 150 mile round trip, ooh!
