K. There are two versions of this Shaska. One is the full length 1881 saber without bayonet mounting rings for senior grade NCO's. The other a circa 1905 (if my immediate recollection is correct on the date) which is a slightly shorter version for the mounted artillery type that replaced the earlier model. The artillery version at about 76 cm overall, and the cavalry version at about 87 cm overall - with the caveat that the exact length of the cavalry saber also depends on the time frame of early vs. later.
